some MD&#039;s lift intentionally and some lift unintentionally... it depends on who it is... as far as yuvan is concerned he may be inspired by other songs... but there&#039;s no lifting... when they listen to songs they may get inspired by them, but they make those tunes resemble their style still... and his music is soulful....
harris jeyaraj copies tunes from rahman and YSR cos he worked under both of them...and uses their rejected tunes and modifies them...  that is not so good... because he does not have that uniqueness to him and that&#039;s why most of his songs sound similar...
so don&#039;t be disheartened by what your friends say...english music copies music from various other languages too...everyone does...and it just so happens that music can&#039;t always sound unique cos everyone has to use the same instruments...so sometimes there will be similarities... :-)</description>
