Yuvan my favorite.

I’m a great fan of Yuvan shankar raja for his outstanding music through out. I never stop listing to his music. But some of my friends keep on tell he lifts music from other language album. Really i feel sorry for them. It is no more called lifting the music. It is all about inspired by that music. Even if you see the tune remains original. I would also like to mention that even Rahman, Harris , and almost all MD has inspired by other language music and I’d never blame on them because composing music loved by all is really a tough job. I would just appreciate there music whatever people say about their music. I give damn to the people who says yuvan has lifted tune. He remains great on his virtue.

    Hey..
some MD’s lift intentionally and some lift unintentionally… it depends on who it is… as far as yuvan is concerned he may be inspired by other songs… but there’s no lifting… when they listen to songs they may get inspired by them, but they make those tunes resemble their style still… and his music is soulful….
harris jeyaraj copies tunes from rahman and YSR cos he worked under both of them…and uses their rejected tunes and modifies them… that is not so good… because he does not have that uniqueness to him and that’s why most of his songs sound similar…
so don’t be disheartened by what your friends say…english music copies music from various other languages too…everyone does…and it just so happens that music can’t always sound unique cos everyone has to use the same instruments…so sometimes there will be similarities… :-)

English music does not copy from other sources since it is widely listened to and copycats will be immediately found out.
