I’m jobless and i keep on surf. I found this optical illusion. This is really amazing. I want my friends to see this.

Can someone explain to me how this optical illusion works?

    This isn’t an illusion.. Just another lame JavaScript.. Refer the Page Source..

    Hey, but they have named it as illusion and also have explained how to make it through Photoshop.

    @Avenger
    It must work dude, You can see that B&W image would turn color untill you move your eyes.

  4. Visu Says:

    Yes, thats for how to make that negative image in photoshop. Basically , after 30 secs when you place the cursor over the picture it will swap pictures.

  5. Marc Says:

    Visu, this isn’t a JavaScript trick. The first image is just the colours and the second image is a black and white photograph. When the second image appears your eye retains colour signals from first image and puts it on second image to create a full colour photo.

  6. Visu Says:

    Okay da Marc , whatever you say. But the page source has a script to do something with JS and also there is a text above saying “Your browser must support JavaScript”.. So i thought JS.

  7. Marc Says:

    The Javascript is there to display the second image after a while, though a GIF would have accomplished the same thing.

    Visu Why don’t you read the tutorial of that page? They have clearly shown how they set up that illusion. But what you said in 4th comment was wrong to my knowledge.
