Best antivirus which i'm using

Every one ask me which anti virus i’m using. I have used almost 10 anti virus including Bitdefender, Nod 32, Norton, E-trust , McAfee, Panda , Kaspersky, PcCilin, Avast , AVG , Zone Alarm, Clamwin , Avira.

Note: I have installed different versions of Anti virus for NOD 32 , AVG , Bit defender , Also Avira. Like premium, personal, trail ,etc, etc.

Nod 32 was perfectly working except i had a problem with updating the signature.
Bit defender was bad with my comp. McAfee , i had trail , so no use .
Panda , Pccilin , Clamwin , Norton – Dont even try this. But Norton once helped me to clear boot sector virus.
Kaspersky was working very bad in my comp. The worst ever experience i had with it.
AVG is pretty decent. In fact i liked it lot but it couldn’t identify few virus. Avast was less bad, I don’t want to make much comment about it.

Avira that too the latest version(not sure) Avira_Security_8.2.0.247 works great in my computer. It does everything. My system is secure now, They even provide 1 year free licence and which we can extend it.

Try it, well you can locate key easily or even get license once you register with avira. If you don’t find it then i’ll help you.

P.S : Working of Anti virus differs in each computer. May be Kaspersky was best working in your comp and Avira might be bad one. This is my experience.

After Nod32 began acting strangely I moved to Avira and I’m using it now. Seems pretty good. I generally don’t encounter viruses (prevention is better than a cure) so I don’t really know how good it is.

Yeah, I still remember you suggested me this one. I have encountered few problem and avira was working great.

Once i was downloading a file from rapidshare, avira found that there was a virus ina file which i was downloading half way and blocked it too. And also it blocks phishing websites. Thats really cool.

There is file with red icon named something like “prem_sec_winnt_en_hp” . Just click it to install.

There will be notification daily about daily updates. You need not worry, it will automatically install the updates.

I never used antivirus in my system.. antivirus makes pc slow.. so i avoiding that…
If i get any virus, i will remove by follow the procedure of virus removal in some sites

  7. Marc Says:

Naresh, that is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Antivirus protects your computer from trojans and viruses BEFORE they infect your system. Would you rather get infected, lose your data and have your passwords revealed to someone else, and then try to clean your PC?

Install antivirus immediately. Only Symantec and McAfee slow down your PC because those programs are meant for slowing down fast computers :D . Use Avira, AVG, BitDefender or NOD32.

  8. Naresh Says:

    @Marc
already my system is very slow, so antivirus will make my system very slower
i will install good antivirus after i buy new pc with good configuration

  9. Marc Says:

Very poor excuse. Only crap like Norton slows down your PC. Other antivirus programs are fast and efficient.
